Affiliate disclosure
Pro Cue Specs is free to use. We plan to support the site through affiliate links and clearly labelled sponsorships. Here's what that means for you.
Affiliate links
Some "Shop at…" links on this site are, or may become, affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. You don't pay anything extra. The retailer may set its own cookie to track the referral; see our privacy policy.
Pages with shop links carry a short notice near those links and a site-wide notice at the top of every page.
What affiliate money never changes
- The specs. A spec only appears if we can cite a source for it, whoever made the product and whether or not we earn anything from it.
- The counts. Our "what do pros use" pages count what the tracked pros use. Commissions don't move anything up or down.
- Our corrections. If a better source contradicts a spec, we change it, even if that removes a link that earns us money.
Sponsorships
If a brand ever pays for a placement, it will be clearly labelled "Sponsored". Sponsored placements will never be presented as a pro's verified setup.
Free products
If a brand ever sends us a product to review, we'll say so on the page.
For search engines
Retailer and affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored nofollow".
